How do I get started?

Get in touch using the above form. We'll respond via email to any initial queries you might have and then schedule a discovery call.

When do I find out what it would cost?

When you get in touch, you'll automatically receive our free accounting guide, which includes useful hints and tips as well as a complete breakdown of costs.

What's the cost if I sign up half-way through or after the financial year?

If you approach us part-way through your financial year, we'll backdate the accounting portion of your fee so that we have charged in total 12 x the correct monthly accounting fee per financial year.

Can you complete my historic bookkeeping for me?

Yes. We can go back and complete your historic bookkeeping if you need us to do so. We'll quote for this work separately if it is required.

What's the cost if I sign up half-way through or after the financial year?

If you approach us just after your year-end, we'll backdate the fee to the start of the period, i.e. 12 x your monthly accounting fee. If you are half-way through your year we would backdate 6 months, etc. The same applies for bookkeeping (software subscriptions do not need to be backdated of course) and VAT.

Can I change the services I use?

Absolutely. This can be done at any time by simply speaking with your accountant. They'll confirm the changes you've requested on email, and update your next invoice accordingly.

What happens on the discovery call?

You'll normally speak with Steffen, our COO and one of the partners of the firm. On this call, we will learn about your business and its needs, discuss how we would work together to achieve your goals, and answer any question you might have so you can make before signing up.

After I sign up, am I locked into a contract?

No. Before signing up you will be presented our terms to review, where you will see that you can terminate the engagement at any time with one month's notice. If for any reason you decide to disengage, e.g. if you cease trading, we refund you any fees for services not yet rendered.

How do you save me time and stress?

We use Xero + Receipt Bank to handle your bookkeeping to make this as efficient as possible.

We take full ownership of the process. We use dedicated workflow management software so that no deadline gets missed, you receive simple electronic checklists whenever we need anything from you, so you won't have to worry about keeping on top of various email chains per workstream.
